一、Device Description:

The sorter sorts the items according to the pre-set instructions and delivers the sorted items to the machinery at the designated location. The servo drive is required to be able to accurately index, send items to the set track, so as to achieve the sorting function.

二、Process requirements:

1. The servo drive can be accurately positioned.

2. The motor can run without shaking during indexing.

三、System Composition:

The sorter uses a servo drive and a motor that controls the smooth rotation of the indexing disc through gears to control the movement of items to the specified track. The indexing dial is shown below:

The servo drive works in position mode, and by accepting the pulse signal of the PLC, the running direction and running speed of the motor can be adjusted through the PLC.
